The Training Course for Tour Guides is unique in Israel.

The course is intended for professional tour guides, and instructors provide the students with the most advanced tools and methods available. The goal of the course is to train guides to accommodate individuals with special needs on trips throughout the country.

Among others, the following courses are taught:

• Understanding and acknowledging the population of people with special needs
• Use of the most appropriate equipment for specific populations
• Working knowledge of all the services provided by social services and non-profits
• Class tours to learn about attractions and sites that are accessible

The course is offered with the cooperation of the Tourism Ministry, and those completing the course receive a certificate from the ministry certifying them as a tour guide for people with special needs.
